"To the Fullest"
*Thanks to all you of you who continue to visit this page as well as our "Cross Training" page. FYI...our "Cross Training" page is the page that will be updated throughout the year with new stories and interviews.  We will update this page occasionally, but not as often. We appreciate you visiting our site and welcome your input!

For those of you who wonder what we mean by the phrase: "To the Fullest" we have added this page to explain a bit more. If you are interested, please read on.

The concept of that phrase comes from a verse in the Bible (John 10:10).  Jesus says: "I have come that you might have life and have it to the fullest".

God has given many of us a love and talent for sports and that is great. We believe that this is how our Creator specially created us.  But, we also recognize that success in athletic achievements alone will never (and was never intended to) bring us our truest source of fulfillment.  This comes ultimately by being in a right relationship with the true and living God and being a part of what He wants to do in our lives and in this world.  Jesus Christ, God's Son died on the cross for us to make it possible for us to be back in a right relationship with God.

We are not talking about "religion"... a set of rules and regulations, a list of do's and don'ts, being a good person, etc. We are talking about a relationship with God. Yes, that is a radical concept.  But, we encourage you to seriously check out the claims of Jesus Christ.  After all, we focus like crazy on our race preparation.  But, have we prepared ourselves for where we will be 100 years from now...for eternity? God cares about you. He really does.

"This is how much God loved the world: He gave His Son, His one and only Son, Jesus Christ. And this is why: so that all who believe in Him will not perish, but have eternal life". (John 3:16)
