Welcome to eliteFITcoach, a professional endurance sports performance and fitness coaching group, based out of the Southeastern United States. eliteFITcoach is comprised of a distinguished group of endurance coach, cycling coach and fitness coach professionals, who are leaders in their field. Our Coaching Team desires to provide an exceptional and caring service to each and every client.   

   We currently offer select coaches the opportunity to join eliteFITcoach as an EFC Associate Coach. Each specially selected eliteFITcoach Coach will be provided with a great number of benefits to assist them in growing a successful coaching business. We have gathered some of the finest resources to make it easier  for you to join this growing coaching profession. These benefits include:

EFC Associate Coach Benefits

• On-going and frequent consultations with eliteFITcoach, regarding issues relevant to coaching endurance athletes and running a coaching business.
• Credibility and prestige of being associated with an established, respected coaching group, with other exceptional coaching professionals.

• Opportunity to use a cutting edge coaching software tool to assist coaches in effectively communicating with their clients. This streamlines the coach-athlete communication process, allowing for regularly review of each athlete’s progress, and eliminates the need to play ‘phone tag’ with your athletes to get training progress updates! (EFC Associates pay a nominal monthly per client fee for this coaching software which is provided by a third party.)

• Opportunity for increased fees for coaching services, due to association with EFC.
• Peer group e-mail discussions with other members of the EFC Coaching Team. This experienced team offers years of knowledge regarding endurance sports coaching, as well as extensive racing experience.

• Marketing of EFC Coaches’ services via the eliteFITcoach.com web site.
• High Visibility of eliteFITcoach business via the major search engines (ie. Google, Yahoo, Msn.) This visibility drives a good amount of traffic to the EFC site which may lead to potential new EFC clients.

• Marketing of EFC Coaches’ services via: MyEnduranceCoach.com and Bicyclecoach.com, which are owned by EFC. These are 2 other High visibility sites which bring prospective clients to EFC.

• Marketing of EFC Coaches’ services via other affiliate web sites with whom eliteFITcoach has an agreement.
• Assistance in building a client base, although each Associate/Affiliate Coach, however, will not depend solely on EFC to obtain new clients.
• A non-exclusive license allows the Coach use of the eliteFITcoach name and logo under the terms described in the agreement.
• Business development support and assistance.

• A free “@eliteFITcoach.com” domain e-mail box.
• Assistance with handling Associate Coach’s client payments. 
• Access to industry connections that may benefit Associate/Affiliate Coach.
• Opportunity for further marketing exposure by writing articles for affiliate web sites with which eliteFITcoach has an agreement.
• Opportunities to join other EFC Coaching Professionals @ seminars, camps as they may develop in the future.

EFC Associate Coach Selection Process

 Each EFC Coach must (as a minimum) have the following:

•  Extensive competitive experience in the endurance sport(s) which he/she will be coaching (i.e. cycling, triathlon, adventure racing, running) 

• Coaching Certification (i.e. USA Cycling, USA Triathlon).*Although some coaches may not have this certification initially, we ask that each coach obtain this professional certification as quickly as possible.

•    Solid and proven coaching experience

•    A commitment to integrity and excellence

•    A commitment to exceptional client service

•    Enjoy working with people

•    Creativity & initiative in marketing their services to potential clients

•    Computer skills

•    Strong support of the eliteFITcoach vision

•    Trustworthy and dependable individuals who place a high priority on keeping their word and following through with their commitments.

•  Resume (including coaching, racing and other work related experience

•  3 letters of reference (including at least 2 former or current coached clients)

• A letter explaining why you are interesting in joining eliteFITcoach, as well as what qualities/strengths you have which will enhance the EFC coaching group.

• Short and long-term goals for coaching business

• Copy of Coaching Certification

• Proof of insurance for coaching services (to be obtained prior to joining EFC.)

The selection process:

• Please submit the above information to Kim Morrow, owner of eliteFITcoach, LLC. Kim will discuss each applicant with members of the eliteFITcoach Board of Advisors. Interviews (phone and/or in-person) will be held as well, so that applicant will have the opportunity to ask questions, as well.

Financial Information:

• Each new Associate pays a  one-time Startup Fee and Training Fee (for the extensive consultations/time spent assisting them as they become a new Associate Coach.)

• EFC will pay the Associate Coach a certain percentage (or split) of their coaching revenue, and offers incentives over time as their coaching business grows. Feel free to ask us about specific details.
