Kim is a Professional Fitness Coach, Cycling Coach,
and Active Aging 50+ Specialist with over 20 years of experience
as a Professional Coach! She has been
a Professional Cyclist and Triathlete, a 3-time U.S. Olympic Trials
cycling competitor (finishing 7th in 2000) and was a consistent top 10 finisher in major U.S. stage races and road races during
her racing career. Kim is also a 4-time United States
Master's National Road Race Champion and a Master's World
Champion. Prior to her career as an endurance athlete, she
spent over 10 years as a competitive tennis player, including
playing at Georgia Southern University, teaching as a Tennis
Professional, and serving as a collegiate head coach. She
currently enjoys competing (on a little more low-key level) in
off-road duathlons and triathlons, trail running, as well as team adventure races.
As a Fitness Professional,
Kim is on the "cutting edge" of research related to
your health and sports performance. She has experience as
a Certified Personal Trainer, a Certified Senior (age 55 plus) Personal Trainer,
and a Post-Rehab Conditioning Specialist.
In addition, Kim has a Master's degree in Sport Science and Pedagogy, and is a
certified USA Cycling
Elite Coach
(the highest of 3 levels offered in the USA). She has conducted seminars for competitive cyclists and triathletes
and has coached State, National and World Champions.
She cares about each and every client
and wants to make your training challenging and enjoyable. Kim and her family reside in Greenville, SC.
Her clients include fitness clients of all levels in the
Greenville, South Carolina (SC) metro area, and neighboring
North Carolina (NC), as well as novice to elite cyclists,
adventure racers, runners, and multisport athletes across North
America.
